App Privacy Policy – Command Center

Introduction

Cellular Magician Technologies (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Cellular Magician Scheduler mobile application (the “App”) for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.

The App is a companion tool for the Command Centre POS system, designed exclusively for employees of businesses that use Command Centre POS to view their work schedules and record clock-in/clock-out activity. It is not a public consumer app.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the App:

Account Credentials: Your work email address and password, as configured by your employer in Command Centre POS, are used to authenticate your identity.
Precise Location (GPS): Collected only at the moment you clock in or clock out of a shift. See the Location Data section below for full details.
Timeclock Data: Clock-in and clock-out timestamps are recorded and stored on the Command Centre POS backend, linked to your employee account.
Shift Data: Your work schedule is synced read-only from your employer’s Command Centre POS account.
Device Identifiers: Standard iOS device identifiers may be used for session management and security. These are not used for advertising.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

Authenticate your access to the App
Display your work schedule
Record and verify clock-in/clock-out activity, including location verification
Maintain session security

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond operating the App's core functions.

Location Data

The App requests access to your device's precise GPS location only at the moment you clock in or clock out of a shift. Location is used exclusively to confirm your physical presence at your assigned work location.

We do not:

Track your location in the background
Monitor your location outside of clock-in/out events
Use your location for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose

You may deny location access through your iPhone's Settings; however, doing so may prevent the clock-in/out feature from functioning correctly.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not use any third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or behavioral tracking tools.

Your data is accessible to your employer (the business operating Command Centre POS), who is the data controller for your employment records and schedule. Cellular Magician Technologies acts as a data processor on their behalf.

We may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect the legal rights of Cellular Magician Technologies or its users.

Data Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) to the Command Centre POS backend. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.

Data Retention

Your account and timeclock data are retained for as long as your employer maintains an active account with Command Centre POS. Upon termination of employment or account closure, data retention is governed by your employer's policies and applicable legal requirements. Contact your employer to request deletion or correction of your records.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

GDPR (EEA/UK residents): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data.
CCPA (California residents): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Because your employer is the data controller for your schedule and timeclock records, requests to access, correct, or delete your data should first be directed to your employer. Your employer can then coordinate with Cellular Magician Technologies as needed.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. It is designed exclusively for use by employees of businesses operating Command Centre POS. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided information, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes.
